Six days, one scale, and every boat only fishes three of them. Lines in at 8, scale opens at 4. Call what comes off the boats — species, weights, or a whole lot of nothing. Most nights the board stays empty, and an early fish can still be standing on Saturday. Picking “none” is a real strategy and it will still hurt when you’re wrong.
