Losers League Community Guidelines
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
losersleague.com
Losers League is built on a simple idea: everyone plays, no one cheats, and the whole thing stays fun. These Community Guidelines define the rules of the road for everyone on the platform — Players, Creators, and guests alike. They apply to all content you post, games you build, predictions you make, and conversations you have on Losers League.
These Guidelines are incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violating them is a violation of your agreement with us and may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination — depending on severity.
If you see something that doesn’t belong here, report it. Use the report button in-app or email us at hey@losersleague.com. We take every report seriously.
1. How We Enforce These Guidelines
We believe in graduated enforcement — the response should fit the violation. Here is how we generally approach it, though we reserve the right to skip steps for serious violations.
Warning
For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a warning and remove the content. No account action taken.
Temporary Suspension
For repeated violations or more serious conduct, we may suspend your account for a defined period. Game access and chat may be restricted.
Permanent Ban
For severe violations — including hate speech, threats, exploitation of minors, fraud, or repeat offenses after suspension — we will permanently terminate your account with no opportunity to appeal.
Immediate Removal Without Warning
Certain content is removed immediately upon detection or report, without prior warning. This includes content that endangers safety, sexualizes minors, or violates law.
We may also refer conduct to law enforcement where we believe a crime has been committed or is threatened.
1.1 Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you may appeal by contacting hey@losersleague.com within 14 days of the action with the subject line “Enforcement Appeal.” We will review appeals in good faith, but our decisions are final. We do not restore accounts permanently banned for serious violations.
2. Who These Guidelines Apply To
These Guidelines apply to everyone who accesses the Platform in any capacity:
- Players participating in any game, free or sponsored;
- Creators building, configuring, and publishing games;
- Guests browsing without a registered account;
- Creators’ game content itself — questions, titles, descriptions, images, and any other material submitted through Creator tools.
Creators are additionally responsible for ensuring that the games they build comply with these Guidelines. A Creator who builds a game that facilitates violations of these Guidelines may face the same enforcement consequences as a user who directly commits a violation.
3. Content Rules
All content on Losers League — whether in chat, game questions, Creator game titles and descriptions, profile names, or any other field — must comply with the following rules.
3.1 Hate Speech and Discrimination
We do not allow content that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
This includes:
- Slurs, derogatory language, or stereotypes used to demean groups;
- Content that portrays any group as subhuman or calls for discrimination;
- “Ironic” or “satirical” hate speech that functions as genuine hatred in context;
- Symbols, imagery, or language associated with hate movements.
Context matters. Critical discussion of social issues, educational content, and commentary on current events is not automatically prohibited — but the line is between discussing hate and promoting it.
3.2 Harassment, Bullying, and Threats
Losers League is competitive. Trash talk is part of sports culture. But there is a clear line between banter and harassment, and we enforce it.
Not allowed:
- Targeted, repeated hostile behavior toward a specific user — including in chat, game comments, or any platform feature;
- Threats of violence, physical harm, or doxxing (publishing someone’s private real-world information);
- Content designed to humiliate, intimidate, or silence a specific individual;
- Coordinated harassment — organizing others to target a user;
- Sexual harassment of any kind.
Allowed:
- Competitive banter, playful smack talk, and good-natured rivalry — provided it stays general and is not directed at a specific person to cause harm;
- Criticism of public figures in their public capacity (athletes, teams, coaches, entertainers).
3.3 Violent and Graphic Content
We do not allow:
- Content depicting graphic violence, gore, or torture;
- Content that glorifies, celebrates, or encourages real-world violence against any person or group;
- Content that trivializes mass violence, terrorism, or tragedy in a way that harms victims or survivors.
Game content that references sporting violence (e.g., contact sports) or fictional entertainment violence (e.g., action film outcomes) in the context of predictions is generally permitted, provided it is not gratuitous or celebratory of real-world harm.
3.4 Sexual Content
Losers League is a prediction and gaming platform, not an adult content platform. We do not allow:
- Explicit sexual content of any kind, including nudity, pornographic imagery or language;
- Sexual content involving or directed at anyone under 18 — this is an absolute prohibition with no exceptions and results in immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement;
- Non-consensual sexual content, including content that depicts or simulates sexual activity without the depicted party’s consent;
- Sexually suggestive content in game titles, questions, or descriptions.
3.5 Child Safety
The safety of minors is non-negotiable. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM), real or simulated;
- Content designed to groom, exploit, isolate, or gain inappropriate access to minors;
- Any attempt to use the Platform to contact, recruit, or communicate inappropriately with users who are or may be minors.
Any content that sexually exploits minors will be immediately removed, reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement, and the account will be permanently banned.
3.6 Misinformation and Manipulated Content
Game predictions are inherently speculative — that is fine. What is not allowed:
- Presenting fabricated or knowingly false claims as factual within game content, chat, or any Platform feature in a way that could deceive users or manipulate game outcomes;
- Doctored or manipulated media presented as authentic to influence game outcomes or user decisions;
- False information about health emergencies, natural disasters, or public safety events.
Predictions, opinions, and speculation are inherently different from factual claims and are welcome on the platform.
3.7 Spam and Manipulation
Not allowed:
- Posting repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content (spam) in chat or any platform feature;
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform;
- Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages, evade a ban, or manipulate leaderboards;
- Coordinating with others to artificially manipulate game outcomes, leaderboard rankings, or voting;
- Posting affiliate links, promotional content, or commercial solicitations without our express approval.
3.8 Intellectual Property
You may only post content you own or have the rights to use. Not allowed:
- Posting copyrighted text, images, music, video, or other content without authorization from the rights holder;
- Using sports league logos, team marks, broadcast content, entertainment property names, or celebrity likenesses in Creator game content without appropriate licensing;
- Impersonating another user, public figure, brand, or Losers League staff.
Referencing public events, sporting results, or entertainment outcomes in prediction questions — by name, score, or outcome — is generally permissible as factual reference. Using protected logos or artwork as decorative elements is not.
3.9 Privacy and Personal Information
Not allowed:
- Posting another person’s private information without their consent (doxxing) — including real name, address, phone number, employer, or financial information;
- Recording or sharing private conversations without all parties’ knowledge;
- Using any Platform feature to surveil, stalk, or track another user.
3.10 Illegal Activity
Not allowed:
- Using the Platform to facilitate, promote, or coordinate any illegal activity;
- Soliciting or offering illegal goods or services;
- Gambling or wagering of real money through the Platform without explicit written authorization from Losers League;
- Attempting to defraud Losers League, sponsors, or other users;
- Accessing or attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
4. Creator-Specific Rules
Creators have elevated responsibilities because their games are the foundation of the platform experience for Players. In addition to all of the rules above, Creators must:
4.1 Game Content Standards
- Ensure all game questions, titles, descriptions, images, and configurations comply with these Guidelines;
- Not build games designed to mock, target, or harm specific individuals;
- Not build games whose primary purpose is political persuasion, propaganda, or voter suppression;
- Clearly label games containing mature themes (e.g., games involving adult entertainment content) and apply appropriate age-tier restrictions;
- Not create games that simulate or encourage illegal wagering.
4.2 Age-Gating Responsibility
Creators who set age restrictions on their games (18+ or 21+ per our Terms of Service) are solely responsible for clearly communicating those restrictions to Players before they enter the game. Losers League provides the age-tier infrastructure; enforcement of the communication is on the Creator.
4.3 Sponsored and Branded Games
Creators who incorporate sponsor relationships into their games must:
- Clearly disclose the sponsorship to Players within the game interface;
- Ensure the sponsor and its products comply with applicable law and these Guidelines;
- Not create sponsored games that target minors with age-restricted products (alcohol, tobacco, gambling-adjacent content).
5. Reporting Violations
We rely on our community to help keep Losers League a fair and fun place. If you encounter content or behavior that you believe violates these Guidelines:
- Use the in-app report button on any piece of content, chat message, or user profile;
- Email hey@losersleague.com with a description of the violation and any relevant screenshots or links.
We review all reports. We do not guarantee a specific response timeline, but we prioritize reports involving safety, minors, and credible threats. Reports are confidential — the person you report will not be told who reported them.
Filing false or bad-faith reports is itself a violation of these Guidelines and may result in action against your account.
6. Updates to These Guidelines
We will update these Guidelines as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the Platform and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Platform after updated Guidelines take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised rules.
